I couldn't careless! I'm not about to be caught with a tamer in my building when it comes time to round them up. Besides, I'm pretty sure even if there was a law protecting tamer's rights to lodging it will probably get repealed soon enough.

He has most likely chosen this course of action now because he knows that "all hell is about to break loose", and wishes to use it as an excuse. To be honest, I was surprised that I hadn't been evicted sooner. He never did treat tamer tenants with much respect.
